TIME, Inc. is taking up a year-long series on Detroit, covering the history and stories that define Motown. Check out the project's home page, and this explaination of the project. They've bought a house in the city to be the homebase of the project and also started a Detroit blog to regularly update the internets on their experience.
Godspeed, TIME. May your work bring to light both the evils and injustices of this great American city, but also shine brightly on the hope of renewal and change.
