amazing things

There was a day when I thought I understood the world.

Principles of pressure and lift allow an eagle to fly.
Snakes move by pushing off the ground with a series of muscle contractions.
Buoyancy forces cause a boat to float when when it is less dense than water.

Then I read Proverbs 30:18-19.

And I realized I didn't understand the world at all.

Matt,

I read your post (in my hammock), and I don't get it. How does the Proverbs verse refer to the things differently? it didn't make me think about them in a different light, so I must be missing it.

Troy--

You're missing it. I explained three things. It's the fourth that remains too wonderful for me.
