gerbera daisy
crimson flower in a tea cup
black heart and golden frills
her pedals spill and fall
with grace like thunder
and whispers the breeze
yet softer in quiet agony
for her death brings smiles
to eyes awed and cloyed
senses feast this radiant decay
and exhale
