Yesterday I had the most productive day of job searching since I've been to Detroit. I made 23 job-related phone calls, submitted a handful of applications, emailed resumes, etc. All of this was focused on being a substitute teacher.
This morning I already got an email back from one guy who is interested in hiring me into a pool of subs that serves several local charter schools. He's going to call to set up an interview next week.

That's great to hear! Good luck with that - I always thought being a substitute teacher was weird, but you could totally give so maybe different sets of children SO many different impressions of yourself.
