Two new blogs of different sorts:

Aid Watch, William Easterly's blog "Just Asking that Aid Benefit the Poor."  Far too often the "aid" money that America and Americans send abroad doesn't actually reach the people who need it.  Easterly is the economist who wrote The White Man's Burden.  HT: Chops.

I'm even more excited about the inception of a new blog by good friend jonts.  Iron Sharpens Iron.  I'm looking forward to discussion there that's bound to let the sparks fly.  And I'm flattered that jonts likes the free convection name.
