lunch

I try to pack a lunch for myself every day.  Usually just a sandwich, and a fruit if I have any.  I carry it around during the day.   Sometimes I eat it at lunch time, sometimes I eat it in the afternoon.  But it seems in recent days that I often never eat my lunch until I've already returned home for the evening.  That way, I never have to think about making dinner!

There's got to be some metaphor about carrying your lunch around all day an not eating it until you return to the place where the food came from originally.
